Bora Bora island looks like heaven on Earth because of its white-sand beaches, crystal clear waters, sapphire blue skies, and seclusion. Bora Bora is actually a little island that is made up of 3 villages: Anau, Faanui and Vaitape, coverin a total area of 29.3 km. There are hundreds of underwater species that can be seen while exploring the calm, blue waters around Bora Bora. There are colorful reef fish, sea turtles, starfish, mantra rays, sharks, and others. Common varieties of flora include coconut palms, orange trees, and vanilla plants. Due to its volcanic past, there are no native mammals on Bra Bora. But there are non-native species because of human activity, such as Dogs, Cows, Horses, Sheep, and Cats.
