The park boasts 6 million acres of wild land and draws nearly 400,000 visitors each year. For thousands of years, Alaska Natives have lived on the land surrounding the Denali area and used the resources of the land for food, shelter and other things as well. Denali National Park has a fascinating variety of flora and fauna. It is home to moose and grizzly bears. The salmon, arctic grayling and trout fish can be found in the many waters throughout the park. The temperatures of the mountain will vary however in the north; whereas in the south, the moisture in the air adds to cool summers and warm winters.
