It's humanly impossible to get bored because it provides so many engaging and interesting activities from cruising, kayaking and hiking through diverse terrain, to spending time in the unique floating underwater observatory and embarking on a magical tour of caves filled with glow worms. It is also the only fiord in New Zealand that is accessible by road. This area recieves the highest amount of rainfall in the whole New Zealand, hence it's one of the world's wettest places. It's lush greenness is due to the same quality of being one of the wettest places. The area possesses some awe-inspiring wildlife such as three species of dolphin, two species of penguin and fur seals.
