Responsibility towards real photography
Our journey towards photography magazine moved to an era where we are highly concerned with what makes a photo makes standout among 1.2 trillion photos captured each year.
We WallMag have a responsibility to bring up the best talent among the country and around the globe in real photography through online contest and awards what we called them as Missions.
When we say “real photography” we mean the new movement brewing in contemporary photography that captures authentic, rich moments from locals around the world at a moment’s notice.
“It’s a hard question of how we can identify the one photo which really makes it to the top”
And the answer is simple:
“Power to the people, creators and achievers”
Our Voting System
Winners of our contest are decided through a unique voting system with different powers to a different set of people. The normal vote counted as one. The other four categories of power are identified through a badge after the name of a user in our platform.
The Gold badge
The jury under this badge are highly experienced and are known for their tremendous knowledge and skills in the art of photography. They are predominantly the “influencers” who are ruling the field of photography for years.
One vote of this jury will be equivalent to 20 votes
The Silver badge
The jury under this badge is professional photographers who had earlier been the winners of WallMag photography contests. They are well-versed with every detail related to photography. You may also find team members of WallMag within this badge.
One vote of this jury will be equivalent to 10 votes.
The Bronze badge
The users under this badge are the participants that are taking part in this contest. The jury under this category is new emerging talents doing wonders with their skills and techniques of photography. Users who have voted more than 100 correct authentic images receive this badge automatically through WallMag.
One vote of this jury will be equivalent to 5 votes.
The Diamond badge
The jury under this badge are the experts who have years of experience in teaching and educating people about the art of photography. They are known for conducting workshops and live classes covering both the classroom and field coaching.
One vote of this jury will be equivalent to 100 votes.
What advantages our badge holders get?
The badge holders are our close customers. They may receive free copies of our print magazine, exclusive passes to our photography events and more. Images uploaded on the marketplace by these users are sold by WallMag at very high prices to businesses for use. Know more about our marketplace here.
