WallMag: How did you get interested in wedding photography?
I have been interested in photography for almost a decade now. I used to shoot Portraits and was slowly inclined towards shooting Celebrations. Wedding Photography was the obvious step that happened in 2012. It has been 8 years since then and WhatKnot has now shot more than 300 Weddings till date.
WallMag: Before you start to shoot, how do you prepare yourself?
Everything is a process. A very simple yet extensive process. We send out an email to the client asking for all the possible details related to their events, the flow, their likes and dislikes and finally about them as people and couples. It helps us understand what they wish to have as an output. A quick word with the other vendors involved helps us setup better and be prepared.
WallMag: There is a special candid moment, top-notch compositions in your photographs. Few words about that?
A Wedding is a celebration. Every single picture taken during this celebration brings out the emotions that the Couple and their families are going through. We thoroughly enjoy two specific events here. The Haldi Ceremony and the Wedding Rituals for sure. Haldi Ceremony is more to do with the Making of the Bride and it brings out a lot of emotions on the Bride's and her parent's faces. You would see a burst of tears at one moment and a glimpse of a smile in the other.
WallMag: One thing you always keep in mind while shooting?
The Couple is the Priority. Everything else comes later.
WallMag: Can you please share one "Happiest Moment in your Photography life"?
One would think that the happiest moment in a Photographer's life is when he/ she gets an award-winning picture. But only time makes you realize that the Happiest Moment is when you see a really really Happy Bride who can relive all her moments when she goes through the pictures later on.

WallMag: Which photographers have inspired you?
My Partner - Aditya Marathe. A lot of photographers can inspire you. Some for their work, some for their creativity and some for their style. But what you don't see is the ground reality and the amount of hard work that goes into getting that perfect shot every single time. I have been privileged to experience that and keeps me motivated.
