1) An introduction about yourself?
We are a jaipur based company dealing in photography and videography services across the world. Since our inception in 2012, we have believed that any kind of photography is meaningless if it does not communicate any story. Hence we prefer to call ourselves as Storytellers. The company deals in all kind of creative works and is specialized in developing concepts for clients. Our journey has been a very satisfying journey with a rich portfolio consisting of premium and classy works for almost all the best brands of Jaipur ranging from Food to Fashion, Product to Pre Weddings and Children to Conceptual. Our flagship web series Food Affairs, Bodh, India ki Maggi has been immensely popular on social media and the company excels in making professional quality videos.

2) Tell us where it all began. How did you become a photographer?
I started my career as Digital Lighting Artist in 2007 and has served the animation films industry for about 3 years. I have some critically acclaimed films credited in my portfolio like Delhi Safari, Chandni Chowk to Chaina and Lootera, and few international projects like Octonauts and Code Lyoko Evolution. I have also worked in Newspaper and Advertising industry with major players like The Times of India and Crayons Advertising. It was during my job in indonesia when I got interested in photography and after coming back to india I turned my hobby into profession. Today, I am a photographer by profession, an anchor, a foodie by nature and a restaurant consultant and a chef by people’s choice. An artist by birth, i like to do everything with full zeal.

3) How did you discover your style of photography? How would you describe your style?

I would say, my style of photography is quintessentially detailed. In any genre of our work, you will see detailing and that i believe makes it appealing. I dont work on abstract. Rather, i like to work on stories through images. For story you need research and details in your photograph to make it connecting to the viewer. We pay immense time in research and detailing. Then i try to understand emotion while editing. A piece of art can only make a connect with people it it stimulates the emotion of the viewer. Then i would say, it is unique as it is the amalgamation of my thoughts that viewers see in my photographs so there is no same style comparable.

4) Who and/or what influences your work and why?

Though i am very conscious that it should not get influenced by anything. Our work is rather inspired by pretty much everything in this world. The shapes, postures, colors, lighting, expressions, behaviour and motion are the elements of photography that you already see in abundance in nature and in people around you everytime. You just need to be that observing. Photography draws its inspiration through observation only. Then comes the culture. I have been blessed to have lived in different parts of the country since childhood, hence got the opportunity to observe different cultures closely.

5) Is there a photographer or artist who you admire or think they are killing right now?

It is very difficult to name one as there are many who are really doing so well. Be it a famous one or a person who has just started, people are doing amazing job now. Though i dont follow any photographer in particular but if i have to mention, i like kids photography of Bibin Thottungal, Fashion Photography of Tarun Khiwal, Food photography of Ali Arbes.

6) Tell us through your photography process. How do you complete your work from start to finish?

Any project starts with a good briefing by client to understand who are the target audience, what is the communication and what we are photographing followed by our own research about the subject. We plan the communication in the form of a story and then look for required elements, models, props, background for the shoot. Basically we follow film making approach in photography. Once the pre production is done, we make a schedule for shoot for which we have a well trained team. I do editing by myself as i like to carve out my vision in the photographs. We clearly say, we dont click photographs, we create stories.
