How did your journey in photography begin?
My journey into photography began with a simple curiosity to preserve moments that words often fail to capture. What started as a hobby soon turned into a passion as I realized that every photograph has the power to tell a story, evoke emotions, and freeze time forever.
I found myself drawn to everyday moments—the beauty of nature, the raw emotions of people, and the little details that often go unnoticed. With every click of the shutter, I learned not just about cameras and composition, but about patience, observation, and connecting with the world around me.
Over time, photography became more than just taking pictures; it became a way of expressing myself. Every frame is an opportunity to create something meaningful, whether it's documenting wildlife in its natural habitat, capturing the magic of travel, or preserving memories that people will cherish for a lifetime.
Today, my journey continues with the same excitement that inspired me in the beginning. I believe the best photograph is not just one that looks beautiful, but one that tells a story, stirs emotions, and leaves a lasting impression.
What was the first photo you were truly proud of?
One of the first photographs that truly made me proud wasn't taken after hours of planning—it happened in a split second. I was traveling in a moving car when I noticed a perfect scene unfolding outside the window. Both the car and the subject were in motion, leaving no time to think. I instinctively pressed the shutter.
When I looked at the image later, I couldn't believe how perfectly the frame had come together. Despite the movement, the composition, timing, and emotion aligned beautifully. That photograph taught me that great images aren't always about having the perfect setup—they're about being ready to capture the perfect moment.
It gave me the confidence to trust my instincts as a photographer and reinforced my belief that some of the most memorable frames are created in the most unexpected moments.
How has your photography style evolved over the years?
Over the years, my photography has evolved from simply capturing beautiful scenes to telling meaningful stories through every frame. Today, I don't just photograph what I see—I photograph what I feel.
Every scene attracts me in its own unique way. Whether it's wildlife, nature, travel, or everyday life, I try to capture each frame from my own perspective. My focus is no longer just on technical perfection but on creating images that evoke emotion and invite viewers to see the world through my eyes.
With every photograph, I continue to learn, experiment, and refine my vision. I believe that growth as a photographer comes from staying curious, embracing new perspectives, and allowing every frame to tell its own story.
What motivates you to keep creating?
My biggest motivation is the belief that every moment has a story waiting to be told. Every time I step out with my camera, I know there's a possibility of witnessing something unique—whether it's a fleeting expression, a breathtaking landscape, or a rare wildlife encounter.
What keeps me creating is the excitement of discovering new perspectives. No two moments are ever the same, and that challenge inspires me to keep learning, exploring, and pushing my creative boundaries.
Above all, knowing that a single photograph can preserve a memory, evoke emotions, and inspire others to see the beauty in everyday moments is what drives me to keep creating.
What are some of your favorite photographs that represent your best work?
This collection showcases my perspective on finding beauty in ordinary moments. From a lone parakeet perched confidently atop a saffron flag to vibrant bougainvillea glowing against a tranquil sunrise, each image captures a fleeting moment that might otherwise go unnoticed. The dramatic mountaintop landscape reflects my love for nature's grandeur, while the rear-view mirror composition transforms an everyday road into a creative frame within a frame. Finally, the architectural photograph uses sunlight piercing through the iconic façade to highlight the timeless elegance of heritage and design. Together, these photographs represent my belief that compelling images are not created by extraordinary places alone, but by seeing familiar moments from a unique perspective.
What photo do you feel best captures your unique perspective or style?
This photograph stands out to me because it captures one of nature's most mesmerizing performances at exactly the right moment. The peacock, with its fully spread plumage, becomes the undeniable focal point, while the warm golden-hour light enhances every detail of its iridescent feathers. The rocky foreground adds texture and leads the viewer's eye naturally toward the subject, while the softly blurred forest in the background creates depth without distracting from the scene.
What makes this image special isn't just the beauty of the bird—it's the sense of patience and timing behind it. Wildlife photography often rewards those who are willing to wait, observe, and respect nature's rhythm. For me, this frame is a reminder that the most extraordinary moments happen when preparation meets opportunity. It reflects my approach to photography: letting nature tell its story while I simply preserve it through my lens.

What photo represents your cultural roots, and how does it reflect your heritage?
This photograph reflects my roots and the environment that shaped me. The rural landscape, the brick pathway, the fields, and the quiet simplicity of the surroundings remind me that beauty doesn't always lie in grand destinations—it often exists in the places we call home. Growing up around such landscapes taught me to appreciate nature, simplicity, and the stories hidden in everyday life.
The person walking freely down the village path symbolizes a sense of belonging and freedom. To me, this image is more than a landscape; it's a reflection of my journey, my connection to my heritage, and the values that continue to influence my photography. It reminds me that no matter where life takes me, my roots will always shape the way I see the world through my lens.
What's your favorite subject to photograph, and why do you enjoy it?
I enjoy photographing heritage and nature because both are timeless storytellers. Heritage reflects the history, culture, and craftsmanship that have been preserved through generations, while nature reminds us of the beauty and balance that exist all around us. Together, they create a powerful connection between the past and the present.
In this photograph, the sunlight breaking through the intricate architecture symbolizes that connection. It transforms a historic monument into something alive, proving that every structure has a story waiting to be rediscovered. I love capturing these moments where light, history, and emotion come together naturally.
Through my lens, I hope not only to showcase the beauty of heritage and nature but also to inspire people to appreciate, preserve, and experience them with a deeper sense of wonder. For me, every frame is an opportunity to keep these stories alive for future generations.
What photo challenged you technically, and what was the biggest hurdle?
The biggest challenge in capturing this image was balancing timing, composition, and patience. The two parakeets were constantly moving, so I had only a brief moment to capture them together in a natural pose. At the same time, I had to compose the frame carefully, using the textured tree trunk to add depth while ensuring the birds remained the focal point. The warm golden-hour light was changing quickly, leaving little room for error in exposure.
Although there are man-made elements in the background, I chose an angle that kept the birds and the tree as the primary subjects. This image reminded me that wildlife photography isn't about creating a perfect scene—it's about making the most of an authentic moment with the conditions nature gives you. Patience, quick reflexes, and thoughtful composition were the keys to capturing this frame.
Tell us about a project you're most proud of and the story behind it.
This project is about finding beauty in moments that most people pass by without noticing. I wanted to capture how nature and emotions can transform ordinary scenes into meaningful stories.
The first photograph, taken through a rain-covered window, reflects quiet introspection. The raindrops, monochrome tones, and the watch in the foreground symbolize the passage of time and the calm that rain often brings. It's a reminder that even while the world outside is moving, there are moments worth pausing for.
The second photograph shifts the mood entirely. Looking up at the towering pine trees against a dramatic sky represents freedom, hope, and the feeling of being small in the presence of nature. It encourages us to look beyond our daily routines and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
Together, these images tell a story of contrast—stillness and movement, reflection and exploration. They represent my belief that photography is not just about capturing what we see, but about preserving what we feel. Every frame is an invitation to pause, observe, and connect with the world from a different perspective.
