WallMag: How did you decide that you wanted to shoot pregnancy, maternity, and baby photos?
WallMag: Did you receive any professional training?
Anne Geddes is my inspiration. I always used to wonder how these extraordinarily cute photos were clicked. I knew I wanted to do photography but wasn’t sure which genre. My husband suggested me to get specialise in baby & family sessions looking at the dynamics of Indian youth, and here I am with this new journey.
WallMag: How would you describe your photography style?
Yes. I have an eclectic background in Education. I studied animation and film making from Whistling Woods International eclectic Studies photography for three years in Shari academy. After that, I went to Newport, California to specialise further in this genre of pregnancy, baby & family photography.
WallMag: What are the few elements according to you which make a photograph good?
It all depends on my frame of mind. Sometimes I want to be very creative and experimental. Sometimes I stick to my simple ways of looking at things. More or less I prefer simple shots; where emotions are included.
WallMag: Who is your favourite photographer?
Experience of getting a photograph clicked. How you treat people is very important. Of course, the light & framing has to be suitable to the mood of the image.
WallMag: It must be very difficult to shoot infants, how do you manage them?
Annie Leibovitz is one of my favourite photographers.
WallMag: What are the few locations where you usually shoot?
I believe in vibes. The vibe of an adult passes to the child. I always try to calm the parents of the child to calm the child.
WallMag: How do you choose and make the setup required for a particular shoot?
My studio.
WallMag: What is your favourite part of shooting infants?
It is a process of developing a style. Overtime I've realised a few color that I prefer. I stick to those colors and then experiment with different textures around them.

I love my 5D mark iv, 24-70mm 2.8 Lens, my laptop. I can shoot anything with these three things.
