Behind every WallMag Photography Award stands a group of people you rarely see and always feel — the jury. Today, we are introducing them.
WallMag juries are category-scoped panels. The same accomplished photographers, filmmakers and storytellers return to judge the photography awards we run — and many of them have stood on the winners' side of these very awards. They are chosen for one reason: they have spent years behind the lens and know exactly what a great frame costs to make.
How the judging works
Every award runs in two movements. First, the community shortlists the Top 100 — the entries that earn their place through genuine appreciation from fellow creators. Then the jury takes over. This panel scores the shortlist, and their verdict is what decides the winners. The community opens the door; the jury names the best in the room.
