WallMag: Introduce yourself
I was born and raised in Meerut, UP, India . I am a consultant by profession. Photography for me is a hobby, a way to rejuvenate my inner soul. I’ve always had a passion for Nature, and I am a traveler by heart. I used to travel a lot. I have been to several places around the globe.
WallMag: Tell us where it all began. How did you become a photographer?
I always dreamt of having a good camera but never got the chance, though recently I just thought of giving it a try and bought my first DSLR NIKON after a lot of research. It was a turning point in my life and my perceptions about photography. Now I prefer to see everything through viewfinder and give the image my creativity. Photography was something hidden deep inside but now it's unstoppable.
WallMag: How did you discover your style of photography? How would you describe your style?
I don’t have a style. It’s just that I have a special place for nature and landscapes in my heart. The mountain ranges, the wildlife, the sunrises and sunsets are mesmerizing. They offer peace. I am always in search for something unique and extra ordinary. I am still learning something new every day and hope one day I can be a complete photographer, but it will take time as I am only self-learner.
WallMag: Who and/or what influences your work and why?
I got influenced by many co travelers I know from Facebook. Looking their pics, I always got chills. Those influence me to go on and live my hobby as a photographer.
WallMag: Is there a photographer or artist who you admire or think they are killing right now?
There are many, but I like clicks of Mr. Umesh Gogna very much. wonderful pictures, he is killing all the time
WallMag: Tell us through your photography process. How do you complete your work from start to finish?
There is no process I follow, no sets of instruction. I just expose myself to nature and composition comes by their own. I just love to try different things. It’s like I must process the image in my mind before I click it. Once, the image is clicked I just enhance some colors & it’s good to present. But I don’t like presenting an image without sharing any history, knowledge about the place, thing or living. For me image without a story is incomplete. I don’t use RAW images I prefer to keep it fine and jpeg only.
WallMag: What you do when you are not photographing?
Well I do my daily chores and I have a habit of posting my travel stories on my page and I try to show people how beautiful nature is and photography can make u think so different.
