India makes music everywhere — in bedrooms and rehearsal rooms, on street corners and college stages, through a laptop at 2 a.m. and a guitar handed down through a family. Most of it is never heard beyond the room it was made in. The WallMag Musician of the Year Awards 2026 exist to change that.
This is a pan-genre award. Vocalists, instrumentalists, rappers, producers, composers, bands — if you make music, this stage is yours. There is no gatekeeping by genre, language, or following. There is only your sound, and a community ready to hear it.
How it works
Submissions open Thursday, 3 September 2026. You enter your strongest work — as an audio track or a music video — and the WallMag creator community votes on every entry. The Top 100 entries with the most community votes become the finalists. On 8 October 2026, the Top 100 finalists are revealed. Only then does the expert jury begin, reviewing those 100 finalists to select the winners. On 15 October 2026, the Top 3 winners are celebrated across WallMag.
What you're playing for
The winner is named Musician of the Year 2026, with a cover-story feature in WallMag Creator Magazine, brand-collaboration opportunities with music-industry partners, and a hero showcase across our handles. Runners-up earn featured interviews and spotlights. Every one of the Top 100 is recognised — and every entrant is officially ranked and certified, so no one leaves without proof of where they stood.
