How did your journey as a musician and artist begin?
My journey truly began with a deep curiosity about sound itself—how a melody can move people, how rhythm can connect cultures, and how technology can expand creative possibilities. Over time, I taught myself to navigate different aspects of music, from writing lyrics to engineering audio. Inspiration continues to come from everyday experiences, human emotions, and the evolving relationship between art and technology. I remain fascinated by how creativity can serve as both a mirror of the personal and a bridge to the universal. Sometimes, my dreams also inspire my creativity. Believe it or not, some of my songs like 'AREY KYA KAROON' and 'DIL DHAK DHAK' are products of my dreams!
What was the first moment you realized music was your calling?
Since childhood, I often dreamt of songs—melodies and vocals that lingered in my mind even after I woke. What felt both strange and magical was that these songs were completely new; they didn't resemble anything I had ever heard before. They carried a soulful quality, unique in genre and spirit, as if they emerged from deep within my subconscious. Even though I had no formal training at the time, music was always present in me, waiting to be explored. During certain practices, like Yoganidra, I would visualize image patterns connected to particular sounds, reinforcing the sense that music was intertwined with my inner world. Coming from a family with no musical background, the fact that new melodies and ideas kept striking me was a powerful realization—it meant that music wasn't just an interest, but a calling that came from within.
How has your creative process evolved from your early days to now?
In the beginning, I experimented with BandLab DAW, mainly because it was free and accessible. I was largely self-taught, relying on YouTube tutorials to understand the basics of music production. Through this process, I created many songs and gradually built confidence in my ability to produce music independently. Once I felt assured of my skills, I subscribed to BandLab to take my work further. More recently, I began using Suno AI, which I consider a highly advanced tool for audio production. It's fast, efficient, and capable of delivering professional-quality sound. For independent artists like me, Suno AI truly feels like a boon. Nowadays, I use both BandLab DAW and Suno AI in my workflow, combining hands-on creativity with cutting-edge technology to bring my songs to life.
What drives you to blend music with AI art and visual storytelling?
My creative process always begins with audio production—composing and shaping the music and lyrics. Once the song is complete, I move into the visual stage, where I generate videos that blend seamlessly with the sound and storytelling. Using AI as a tool for visual storytelling allows me to connect the imagery directly with the emotions of the lyrics and the atmosphere of the music, creating a unified experience that engages both the ear and the eye.
What makes this song emotionally significant to you?
The lyrics of this song carry a profound emotional weight. As the singer performs, he conveys a deep sense of helplessness and embarrassment about his life, reflecting struggles that feel beyond his control. What makes it even more powerful is the uncertainty woven into the words—his inability to understand whose plan or influence lies behind these circumstances. That raw vulnerability is what makes the song so emotionally significant to me.
Walk us through an AI-generated visual you've created that extends a song's narrative.
I always strive to create visuals that resonate deeply with the lyrics and the overall mood of the song. My goal is to ensure that the imagery enhances the emotional atmosphere of the track, allowing listeners to experience the music not only through sound but also through a visual narrative that amplifies its meaning.
What does your typical creative workspace look like?
My typical creative workspace is simple yet functional, designed to keep me immersed in music. It includes a few essential instruments, a home theatre system for immersive sound, a laptop for digital production, quality headphones, an audio interface, and a microphone. Together, these tools create a compact but powerful setup where inspiration can quickly turn into a finished track.
How do you prepare for a live performance?
I work full-time in the government sector, where the culture and routine are vastly different from my passion for music creation. Because of the demands of my 9-to-7 job, I haven't yet had the opportunity to prepare for a live performance. The paucity of time has kept me focused mainly on studio-based production, where I channel my creativity through platforms like BandLab and Suno AI.
Describe your songwriting process from idea to final track.
Song ideas often arrive in the most unexpected ways—through a dream, while traveling, in solitude at a remote place, during a phone conversation, amidst the distortion of a sound, or even within the noise of a crowd. My creative process begins by capturing these fleeting sparks on my mobile recorder. From there, the ideas gradually evolve within BandLab DAW, where I shape melodies and arrangements. Recently, after exploring the world of AI music creation, I've begun blending traditional production with cutting-edge tools. Today, I use both BandLab and Suno AI to craft my final tracks, merging human inspiration with artificial intelligence to bring each song to life.
How do you incorporate technology into your music production?
Technology plays a central role in how I create music. I use BandLab DAW to compose, arrange, and refine my tracks, giving me the flexibility to experiment with sounds and structure. Alongside this, I integrate Suno AI, which brings an advanced layer of AI-driven audio production. By combining these platforms, I'm able to produce professional-quality music efficiently, without relying on a traditional studio setup. This blend of tools allows me to stay independent while still achieving a polished, modern sound.
What piece of equipment or software has most influenced your sound?
Both BandLab DAW and Suno AI have had the greatest influence on my sound. BandLab gave me the foundation to compose, arrange, and experiment with music independently, while Suno AI introduced me to advanced, AI-driven audio production that elevates the quality and efficiency of my work. Together, they shape the unique blend of creativity and technology that defines my sound today.
