How did your journey in music composition and lyric writing begin?
My journey in music composition and lyric writing began from a very personal space — emotions, memories, and the timeless music I grew up listening to. I was a huge fan of the golden era of 70s and 80s music, deeply inspired by legendary voices like Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, and Mukesh. Their ability to convey raw emotion through melody left a lasting impact on me. As I grew older, I was hugely influenced by Sonu Nigam, whom I truly idolized for his versatility, emotion, and vocal expression. I also fell in love with the golden 90s era of music led by artists like Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, and Abhijeet Bhattacharya. In recent years, the soulful intensity and emotional depth of K.K. became another major inspiration in shaping my musical identity. All these influences inspired me to start writing my own thoughts, emotions, and life experiences into songs. What began as a passion slowly transformed into composing melodies and crafting lyrics that blend nostalgia, romance, heartbreak, and rock influences. Today, through songs like Yaadein Jo Teri, Aashiqui Teri, and Qaafirana Ishq, I try to carry forward that timeless emotional essence while creating a sound that feels personal and contemporary at the same time.
What was the first song you ever composed or wrote lyrics for, and what inspired it?
Dil Bebaak was the first song I ever wrote and composed — an emotional romantic track inspired by fearless love, heartfelt emotions, and the classic soul of 90s Bollywood music blended with modern rock influences.
How has your creative process evolved over the years?
Over the years, my creative process has evolved from writing purely from emotion to crafting songs with a deeper understanding of storytelling, composition, and sound. In the beginning, I used to write very instinctively — whatever I felt emotionally would directly turn into lyrics and melodies. But with time, I learned how to shape those emotions into songs that people can personally connect with. Today, my process is much more layered — I focus not just on lyrics and tune, but also on the mood, sonic texture, vocal emotion, and how the song visually and emotionally connects with listeners. Whether it’s a romantic ballad, a heartbreak anthem, or a rock fusion track, I always try to keep the soul of the song honest and relatable.
What is your favorite genre to compose or write, and why?
My favorite genre to compose and write is emotional rock ballads and romantic fusion music because it allows me to combine powerful lyrics with soulful melodies and raw intensity. I’ve always been drawn to music that makes people feel something deeply — whether it’s love, heartbreak, longing, or nostalgia.
Tell us about your most recent original composition and the story behind it.
Qaafirana Ishq was inspired by the intensity of passionate love — the kind of love that feels wild, consuming, and unforgettable. Emotionally, the song captures the madness, vulnerability, and emotional chaos that come with loving someone deeply. Musically, it was my attempt to blend soulful Bollywood-style melodies with a powerful rock sound, inspired by the emotional energy of songs that leave a lasting impact on listeners. The composition carries both pain and passion together, making it not just a love song, but an emotional journey of obsession, longing, and heartfelt expression.

What’s one unique tool or instrument in your workspace that you love?
One tool I truly love in my workspace is the guitar, because that’s where most of my melodies and emotions first come alive. Almost every composition begins with a simple progression or unplugged vibe before evolving into a full song. It helps me connect emotionally with the lyrics and create melodies that feel raw, honest, and soulful. For me, it’s not just an instrument — it’s the starting point of every story I tell through music.

Dil Ki Deewaron Pe Hai was written from the feeling of holding onto someone’s memories and cherishing their presence. The lyrics reflect how certain emotions, moments, and people leave permanent marks on our hearts — almost like their name is written on the walls of the soul. While writing it, I wanted the words to feel intimate, poetic, and deeply emotional, inspired by the timeless style of classic Bollywood songwriting mixed with modern romantic expression. The song carries a sense of longing, nostalgia, and silent love — the kind that stays with you forever.
What makes a live performance special to you?
It's all about emotions written on walls of the heart of beloved. A full devotion to love for beloved.
Why is your favorite instrument or memorabilia meaningful to your career?
A childhood dream to own a Marshall and listen my own composed song and beats on it.
What key changes did you make during production of a track?
Learned mixing and mastering, vocal and music layering and other important stuff related to music production.
